Gears, Inc. was incorporated in Colorado in 1975. Initially we were a pipeline, utilities, and dirt contractor. In 1986, we successfully completed the Colorado Division of Wildlife's Spring Creek Dam modification. This project included a roller compacted concrete emergency spillway. The project which was one of the first of its kind in the United States and was the beginning of our venturing into specialty mixing and placement.

In 1994, Gears, Inc. established Pyramid Environmental, Inc. to provide our services in the eastern portion of the United States.

	The Aran plant is fast, compact, quiet, versatile and powerful.

We utilize ARAN 250E, 280B, 400E and new AccuMix continuous mixing volumetric self-erecting and self-contained plants which are state of the art. Not only do these plants offer a high degree of accuracy but the violent mixing action insures a homogeneously mixed product. Our placement methods, utilizing standard construction equipment, have been constantly upgraded through experience gained on numerous and diverse projects.
